Now that you've purged the holiday cooking urge from your system, why not learn some new cooking skills? The Worcester County Library has a series of cooking classes scheduled for January and February.

"Eat Like A Wild Man" teaches you how to cook game: the venison, duck, geese, and rabbit of the Eastern Shore. Each demo is taught by chef from one of Delmarva's premier restaurants. Call to register.

Another option is to order the calendar from Blue Crab Bay Company. Each month features a different seafood recipe using the seasonings and ingredients made by the company. Each recipe was created by chefs at one of the restaurants on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It's available for $1.99 on their website: www.bluebaycrab.com.
